I recently smoked a couple cigars from Crowned Heads and I really enjoyed them. I found an online source that carries quite a few in their lineup and I contacted them to see they could do a little better than what the website was quoting me. Cigars are an expensive hobby so I didn't think it would hurt to ask. The rep was very prompt in responding to my emails, which is something I really appreciate. I was hoping to buy a few singles of each but they only had boxes or packs of six except for the Angel's Anvil which is a fiver. This is the order I put together:

Jericho Hill, Willy Lee - 6 pack $58.50
Headley Grange, Estupendos - 6 pack $55.50
JD Howard Reserve, HR52 - 6 pack $58.20
Four Kicks, Piramide - 6 pack $51.90
Las Calaveras, LC754 - 6 pack $65.70
Angel's Anvil - 5 pack $52.50

The total if ordered from the website would be 342.30 and I was quoted 300.00 shipped. I was looking for some thoughts if this is a purchase any of you would make if you were in my shoes. Thanks for helping a brother out. :help:

Pretty good price and if you decide you don't like some of 'em you'll probably be able to move them for about what you paid. Like AlohaStyle said, those are popular, in-demand cigars.

just tossing another option your way:

Crowned Heads 6 Shooter Sampler Box - 6 Cigars (on cbid) they tend to go for about $28, so about $5/stick

includes:
2 - Four Kicks Sublime (6" x 54)
2 - Headley Grange Estupendos (5.5" x 52)
2 - JD Howard Reserve HR46 (6" x 46)

---

I can't speak for the others, but last winter I won 12 to 15 five packs of Four Kicks (Rob, Rob Extra & Sublime) from CA for between $11 and $13 a five pack.

I just checked CA history, and over the past 30 days they are closing between $13 and $20 a fiver. Still one heck of a lot better then $51.90 for six.

Here's another option if you don't want to go the auction route, or lay out that much cash right now. Famous sells the Four Kicks, Headley Grange, JD Howard and Jericho Hill in the single quantities you originally said you where looking for. Use the code "BOTLORG" at checkup and get 15% off an order over $50.

Yeah, me too. I ended up going with the Jericho 44S, the Anvils, Tat Reserva Noella, and the TAA Tat Grand Chasseur. I've heard good things about Tatuaje so I figured I'd give em a whirl.

That's why I came aboard so I could get some direction from the "Pros"! There are too many great cigars out there to try. The way I see it; Life is too short for shitty cigars......... and booze for that matter! Plus I got a great deal from one of the sponsor stores:cbig:

Thanks again, Craig.

I assume it's ok to name drop?

Pretty standard pricing here on CH stuff. Good pickup, especially since LC's are now scarce.
