I assume I'm not the only one with this issue: a few scattered ABC cigars (Already Been Cut) sitting in the humi waiting to be enjoyed.

Anyone?

What about gifting one of these? Too sketchy?

Lol I actually do this. Cut a cigar, get busy and back into the humi it goes. It is usually the next stick I grab because it messes with my OCD

No cooties on an ABC unless someone took a draw off of one. Some folks will cut and draw off the cigar, and if they feel it has a tight draw dry box it for a day or so to see if becomes better after dry boxing it. As for gifting, I think the idea apply's... how you would feel being bombed a previously cut cigar. To me, nice gesture but I would question of whether it was in someone else's mouth.

Warren said it perfectly. I have nothing to add to that. But I do have one or two cut and sitting because my OCD made it happen. I did this once with a NHC Lonsdale and after it sat cut for a week, turned out to be one of the best cigars I've smoked.

In addition to what has already been mentioned, I wouldn't gift a cut smoke, as I feel like cutting is kind of personal. Some people prefer the guillotine, others the v-cut or punch.

Since I keep my coolers in the low 60s, I usually slobber my cigars up pretty good before making a cut or punch. Helps to prevent the cap from cracking. So like some others around here, I'd really wonder if it's been in someone else's mouth.

With that said, I've heard of folks going to a "puff and pass" herf, where one guy takes a puff and passes it on to the next guy. Not something I'd ever be interested in, but then again, I don't share drinking glasses or eating utensils with other folks either, lol.

Herfpes.
And that's why I will never puff and pass a cigar. Or anything for that matter. Herfpes is a dangerous disease. I don't want to catch it... Be safe with your smokes gentleman, don't cut and give...

I've done puff puff pass, not with a cigar though lol
Spanks FTW
Nah, spanks... Mesquite. Not Fort Worth.
I hate Texas for that sometimes. Like mesquite is no liquor. I can walk like 3 minutes up the street and be in pleasant Grove, and buy liquor. Or I can go a few minutes the other way and be in Balch springs
Or cross over to Louisiana and get liquor 24/7.
