I was recently gifted another one of these little guys, only my second Panetelas I ever had. The first one I was gifted looked the same. I know all about Cohiba bands, and what to look for in a fake, from the rows to the font to the cut to the letters to color of the bands.
Everything on this Panetelas is spot on, except for maybe 1/4 of a cut off row of squares. Cuban Cigar Website shows the same band on their Panetelas image, as well as http://www.la-casa-del-habano-the-hague.com/cohiba-panetelas . But at the same time I do see pics of these with 2 & 3 rows of squares as well.
Is this a minor defect in the band being its one of the smallest bands Cohiba makes, or is it a really good fake. As I said I know about the bands, and how squares should NEVER be cut off, but I only seen 2 Panetelas in person and both had the same 1/4 row cut off. And both came out of a 5pk Box with them in their own single box. I only have 1 pic, but can post up more when I get home.
These were pics I was setting up for ig, but I will take better ones later in natural light and post up.
