Without a doubt the most flavorful wrapper I've ever had. The taste coming off it onto my lips is thick and savory, like a beef broth. Worcestershire and green grass. Wonderfully smooth smoke with just just a hint of pepper. Burnt honey.

How do I avoid getting addicted to this stick?

Not sure you can avoid it once it's gotten it's claws in you. They are definitely getting better and better with age. And of course boxes are drying up everywhere and going up in price, but still around if you dig. I know a lot of guys who just weren't into them, but I think they're great.

I was lucky to have a friend lay two on me as part of a sampler. This is #1. I'll have to salt the other away til I can get my hands on a box.

Yeah I need to smoke another and revaluate. I think I have about 10 left after gifting or selling a few. Maybe they've gotten better. It's happened before.

I think these have actually gotten better since I've been smoking through the box I have. I didn't try one on release, so I can't comment. I have had some "duds" flavor wise, but when they are on they are really good imo.

I don't think they are in my top 5, but I've spent more on sticks I liked less...

Try one when it adjusts to your humi. If you don't like it, rest it for a good long while.

Ok, so I tried it. I REALLY liked how it started. The rest of it was not as impressive. I mean it was good, better than average, but not EL extra money good. If they were a cheaper regular production RA I'd buy a box or 3.

I liked them quite a bit, but I always thought of them as an inferior imitation of Superiores which were similarly priced, more widely available and better tasting (to me.)

I join jolietfire with a, "meh." I got real excited to think these had turned a corner and become great, but the last one I smoked just seemed like a typical mediocre RA offering.

I'm glad it has a following though; there are still a fair amount of them out there.
