Yesterday I smoked a 7inch mi barrio that lasted about 90 minutes. I find that sometimes you want "shorter" cigars, but sometimes long-duration is great.

The longest smoking cigar I ever smoked was that mi barrio. I assume some large ring gage also smoke lenghtly.
I've read about cigars that last up to 3h!!

What cigars will last long?
Pictures of the beast are welcomed too.

Here's mi barrio:

And after an hour an a half

It wasn't a flavours bomb but was enjoyable.

This is a tough question in my experience. The obvious answer is most Churchills and longer decent ring gauge smokes will last very long. The truth is all of it depends on the roll of that particular cigar, the smoker themselves and other outside factors (example; outside humidity, etc). I have had short smokes that lasted longer than they were supposed to and longer smokes last shorter. There have been people on here that say a Tatuaje Mummy lasted them an hour and a half and then there was someone that had it last 3 hours. It is all subjective to many factors. That being said all the full size monsters, the Tat La Verite 09, and most MF churchills last a long ass time lol.

The Torano Red Vault doesn't look like a big cigar but that bastid burns forever for me. I think its the leaf they use.

I find the tatuaje jv21 lasts forever. San Cristobal colosso also. But it also depends on how fast you smoke them. I find that the Liga privada smoke forever because they are packed with to tobacco

I tend to smoke churchills because they do last longer and having that kind of time really rewards the smoker...if you have that kind of time. Look for a brand where the filler/binder are densely packed as this makes the cigar last even longer as opposed to those that are loosely packed and smoke like a roll of paper towels. There is always the method of drawing 3 times...the first two draws being smaller and the last one you draw twice as much as this will help keep your cigar from going out and once in awhile blow the end of it to keep it burning. With this method I can smoke a robusto and make it last 2 hours w/o having to relight and keeping your ash at least an inch or two will insulate it and help smoke cooler. Some will tend to knock off the ash too much and that makes it smoke hotter so use the ash as a tool for cooler smoking.

A 7" cigar would last me well over two hours. Smoke slower, the cigar lasts longer, and in my experience, smokes better.

I can usually get the Romacraft Mode 5s to burn for about 2 hours no relites or issues, any pig that DE makes is longer than it looks, and even though i dont smoke them the Nubs seem to burn forever

As others said, it depends on a lot of factors. At herfs, or when smoking with friends, my cigars go quickly. Most of the time when I smoke alone, I do it while reading or watching TV. When so occupied, I've had coronas go for 1-1/2 hours. I just finished a LHC Core toro, that lasted 2 full hours. At a herf, I would have blown through it in well under an hour.

A couple weeks ago, it was 10PM and I wanted a short smoke before bed. I grabbed a Bait Fish, some reading material and headed out to the smoke room. When I finally threw the nub into the ash tray, the clock was reading 11:30. That cigar would have lasted me a half hour at a herf.

An hour and 45 minutes and still going strong with no relights

This is essentially a double corona, and lasts me 3 hours. I am a slow smoker.

I bought 5, gifted one, smoked one, and decided the others can use a rest since I didn't get a ton of flavors off it.
This was my first one. I enjoyed it a lot, very subtle flavors, creamy medium bodied.

I tought it would of lasted 2-3 hours. Didn't smoke quick but that's what it gave.
On another hand, I did notice it gave up more smoke at rest than I am used to. Perhaps it just burn faster?

I don't usual note down smoking time; can't clearly compare to other cigars.

I do enjoy long lasting cigars.

This LC754 lasted me 2 1/2hrs plus. It was really good.

Surprisingly, this Oliva serie V double robusto in maduro lasted me an easy 2hrs. Super tight pack, and I like to smoke slowly. LOVE this stick.

I do find that most smokes take me longer to smoke than "average".

I really like these. Stark contrast to the LCs
