Unfortunately, I lack the refinement to really pick up any flavors. The first one I had actually shocked me though, much better than I was expecting it to be, having never really hears anything about them. All the ones I've had have been well constructed & burned flawlessly... I'm a big fan of any smoke I don't have to touch up (unless left sitting for some reason).
