Converting the garage to a smoke lounge is a great idea. I have a makeshift one on my back porch (2x3s & R4 for the walls). Heated by a 85,000 btu high hat that I cut down to sitting height.

In the NC mountains (singles or teens at night in Jan or Feb), it's a battery powered heated hunting vest, insulated Dickie coveralls and a campfire. We'll be putting an out building up right after we make the final move. Better believe it will include a heated/air conditioned smoking room.

I am in Québec, in the windy St-Laurent valleys. Its not really the température that is the issue, really, we can easily endure twenty bellow. .. but the wind has the double négatives of freezing the hands and inducing burn problems to the sticks.

Plus as I said, it is the sad réalisation that we're already heading to snow tires and shuveling the driveway.
I hope you guys know not to put snow tires on until it has been under 40 consecutively and there are no signs of upward spikes in temperature lol. I remember as a newb to the snow tire thing I put mine on a little early and took a lot of life off of them driving them on 55-60 degree days lol

I had mine on for 3 years straight with no problems. :) Handling was so good (or I got lazy) I did not wish to change them.
Had to be all seasons or you are joking lol

Hey I feel the pain of the shitty summer. We had a day it was 42c out that was Wednesday last night 11c. How does this happen. Makes absolutely no sense. I dread winter I hate the cold and I barely smoke at all. Last year in a 6 month spanned I had 2 sticks. This summer haven't had the time either which makes it even worse.

That's pretty much what we have here lately. The fact that 24hrs before was perfect conditions makes it even worst. Totally unexpected.

Can't wait to build the cigar room in the garage :-D

Today isn't so bad. Doesn't feel like winterfel anymore. I like cool days when wind isn't strong enough to blow the burn out of the stick...
