craig, i HAD to! i'm actually tempted to NOT take the cedar off them, just so i can "personalize" them all. still, pretty sure they will always be the "anejo CMac" in my mind...

Just picked up 9 from a local b&m.. The first i smoked was underwelming.. Until i cut the head even more after smoking the 1st quarter..(2nd cut). Then she opened right up.. These should age nicely!

First one I had no draw on it at all. I had another...it's a good cigar, but it's not a 46 by any means. The two I smoked had almost no sweetness from the cognac like the other sizes.

I have smoked a couple of these and IMO they are as good as the 46. I have found smoking smaller rg cigars require smoking slower and easier pull than larger rg to keep cool and give the best smoke. These 888's are worth the search and should age very well, if I could just stop sticking fire to the end of them.

Anyone else have an opinion on this new Anejo size?

this. they are tasty (coming from an anejo fan), but don't be afraid to recut a little. or to wait, see if it opens up during the smoke. and, yes, timing is everything in smaller rings. if it was a wind tunnel, it wouldn't be worth your time at all.

I love the smaller ring gauge smokes and bought 5 of these. Haven't smoked one yet but have given away 3... if I hadn't have already of pulled out a siglo VI then I would light one up. Maybe it'll be round 2.
