Whoa... Wait, yes, I agree! But, I have moved. Would you like my Sterling Heights address??
Yes please......
He is still in euless!
Thats funny I heard he was moving tp Naperville IL :rolling:
Actually, I was thinking about Riberton Utah...
Seems to be a lot of confusion. Might need to send to a couple addresses and hope for the best...

phpBtUUt0PM.jpgphpBtUUt0PM.jpgPicked this up in Modesto yesterday. Some for my Top Shelf some for my newbie trade. The 2nd from the right is a 1962 pre-embargo, not certain I did not get had on it. But I was still happy to get it. Would be interested in some veteran opinions on that purchase just for future reference. And to be honest still clueless on the higher end stuff I was overwhelmed at the shop. But a few of these are the start to my Top shelf collection. Got a huge order coming on Tuesday from the bid place to begin to fill my wineador and my shelves will be here in about two weeks. Life is good. Budget destroyed:dunno::applause:

My opinion is this, don't be in a hurry to fill your humi with perceived high end cigars until you find if you like them or not. If you don't then you spent a bunch of money on cigars that will sit in your humi. I fell victim to playing keep up when I joined and found a year later I had a bunch of stuff I didn't care for.

Buy a few singles here and there and smoke more than you buy until you figure out your particular tastes. Nothing worse than a full humi of undesirable cigars.

+1 on this. There are some great sticks there (LP9, Opus X LC, UC Pig etc.) but part of the fun is creating your own collection. That's a great start though! As far as that "pre-embargo" cigar. It's a cigar that Camacho came out with that claims it has pre-embargo tobacco in it. I'm sure it does but it is probably only trace amounts, not a whole lot at all. If you can, take a picture of the band on the Cohiba in the left hand side. I'm interested to see if that's real or not. Hopefully it is!

Great start and be sure to post your latest haul when you get it!

Well, I actually bought the Cohiba at the local liquor store. First time I looked in their tiny cabinet with about 20 kinds of cigars. I assumed it was a domestic Cohiba but did not readily find that band online. Is it even a real domestic Cohiba? unnamed.jpg
And thank you for the info.

Latest acquisition: 5ers of Sucker Punches, H. Upmann Sun Grown lances (smoked one already lol), JoN Antaño lances (have had other vitolas, looking forward to this one), and Chateau Fuente Sun Grown robos (current favorite daily driver). First time in a little while I was able to make a largish order, could see the bottom of the humi at spots (*gasp!*). Problem solved!

Nice stuff. I have a Cbid winador stuffer order getting delivered today. Not sure if this is an inappropriate question on the forums and apologies in advance if it is, but is Cbid were you do most of your large orders?
