A new Liga lot was just posted. A Cofin, UG 4, 2 rats, 2 FFP, 2 UF13's and an L40. Get on it folks, great smokes and an even better cause!!!!

Alright all you Liga collectors. Here's your chance to put some once in a lifetime sticks in your collection and help out a fellow brother in the process. jbuike on Instagram is running a charity auction and is selling a 13 cigar sampler that will blow your mind generously donated by Nicholas Melillo from his private collection....just a few Bashart Flying Pig #9, Liga Privada #9 Pyramid first run un-released velvet rat. Have fun Gents!!!
Out of my league but a Truely epic assortment. There are a lot of great items/packages up for grabs and for an extremely important cause. Thanks for sharing

Jason,

Thank you for putting this together. What an amazing act of friendship. I feel blessed to be part of such a great community.

Found some Liga's Undercrowns on sale for $5.99 per stick at B N B Tobacco. With the Groupon they have going on right now....basically you can get $100 worth for $49.....they end up going for around $3 per stick. Sick deal, imo.

I don't think they loosened it as my local B&M still had to buy x amount of No. 9s to get a box of UF-13 and FFP. Then they told him they would send him a big of Rats and a box of FFP of he bought x amount of T52s. Maybe with the T52s finally being back in stock there were a lot of orders for them, and those stores got the Unicos for buying the T52. Also, it's near the end of the fiscal year for some companies, so maybe they made more Unicos in the hopes of driving sales at the end of their fiscal year.

Nothing has changed that I know of. Allocations are the same just may be a case where everyone got em at the same time. Guarantee they won't there long.

Man that is some shit, those shops already have to spend an ass load to get a Liga contract. I had no idea they had to buy X amount of stuff to get unico stuff.

Yep. My B&M doesn't carry DE because they have so little room left in the humi and you gotta carry undercrown and other lines just to have a shot at a box of Unico once in a while. There just isn't the physical space. I'm sure they could move the undercrown if they had them.

IMO there's nothing wrong with that practice. If you have a limited amount of cigars that are high in demand than the best decision you can make is to leverage them to get stores to buy your other products. Fuente gives a customer x amount of Opus based off how much they spend on other Fuente lines. It's business.

I gotta agree with this. Heck, most guys do the same thing when they sell samplers - a couple rare/htf sticks bundled with a couple regular ones to ensure money gets recouped on all of it.

Nope, nothing wrong with it at all. That's how capitalism works but it's still crappy for the smaller shops that are already struggling just to sell the $20,000 a year in regular DE stock just to get Liga. It's what makes them money. I just think it puts too much pressure in the small shops and gives the big online stores an advantage.

That's what I'm thinking. (Which might be exactly what they want me to think). So I picked up a box of FFPs and a box of rats over the last two days. Figure I can always trade them if I get my eye in something else.

Thanks to the good people here for alerting me to the sources!
