Hey friends! I've had the pleasure of being a taster for Kyle over the past year. In fact, a year ago last week was when I received my first sample of El Oso. Colmena and Flor Del Valle are releasing very soon and they are both great sticks. Colmena is one of the most cuban-like cigars I've ever had that wasn't from a cuba. I know that is probably an overused and misused term, but I think you guys will agree with me when you try it. Flor Del Valle is probably one of the best Nic puros I've had in a long while. I usually describe it as tasting like a natural process ethiopian coffee. It has huge, dense fruit flavors with a slight undercurrent of tea and spice. After I had my first FdV Cristales, which was 3 weeks off the rolling table, I texted Kyle and told him that I wanted the first box ever made; they are that good. I know some people will be turned off by the price tag on some of these sticks, but they are worth it. FdV is at a very affordable price point and Colmena is definitely a top tier marca for Kyle, but you get what you pay for. I know there are some Colmena reviews floating around from IPCPR and it seems like everyone agrees with me.
I hope that helps with your curiosity. I'll shoot Kyle a text and have him chime in.
