I smoked my first cigar tonight in the new cooler weather, howerver it was not all that great. I smoked a SLR serie A from 02 that has never failed me, but this time the cigar started off good, but became bitter and harsh. When I pulled up the temperature here in Orlando FL on weather.com I realized that the outside humidity here is 25 RH, not the normal 75-80. I store my cigars around 64-65 RH to compensate for this humid environment, but when I smoked tonight, my cigar dried out before my eyes! I am going to have to wait until this dry spell passes here in Orlando to light up another smoke. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them?

I've heard of it, usually though it was combinedwith high tamps too, like Arizona.

By the way, the wrappers on mine are very, and I mean VERY, delicate.

Yours too??

Mine are not all that delicate, but the wrapper feels slightly dry to the touch, especially tonight lol..

I have had that happen on the opposite side where it was very wet out and the cigar almost became damp.

It seems odd that the cigar would be able to dry out so quickly though.
