Anyone here work for Microsoft?

Hey guys my son is graduating college in the spring, hopefully, and he's been sending out his resume and having interviews the last couple of weeks. He just got a job offer from Microsoft and I was wondering if anyone here works there and could give me a little info on the pros and cons of working there. PM me if you'd rather take it offline. If he's active anywhere online, I would tell him to censor what he does. Like with myspace and facebook or any forums he might visit. You know they will do background checks on him.

I'm sure its a great place to work. Even more it will be a great experience and look tremedous on his resume. You and your son should really be proud. However you feel about MS, I don't think they hand those jobs out, thats a pretty nice accomplishment. Not sure what he does, but I hear they treat the tech people pretty well.

No I'm only half-joking about working for Microsoft. From the stuff I've read online it's a pretty good place to work. I'm just hoping to find someone that's accepted an offer there to see if they learned anything from the experience that they would do differently a second time around.

Oh BTW he is a programmer.
