He'll love it. The Xikar's an excellent cutter. I have two and they are my go-to cutter. Welcome to the Brother(Sister)-Hood. You aren't the only Sister on the board...maybe the second, but not the only.

I know he will. I certainly like my Xikar. Many seem to be taken with the Palio, but the Xikar is a classic.
You might try some premium unflavored cigars. They come in smaller sizes, and a variety of natural tobacco flavors, so if you don't like one kind, you might like another. I'm sure the guys here, or your boyfriend, can give you some recommendations.

My Wife's tolerance has grown thin as of late. Her alergies have kicked in and so has her dislike for cigars. Now I'm reminded often how bad it was for me to pick up smoking at 32. lol It is best if I keep my mouth shut
