Someone send FieldSupply a million finger bags.

Free cigars: you get what you pay for :(
Contact them brother they will make it right.
They will. They actually sent me Rocky Patel Vintage 92 instead of the LP9s. Called them and granted I have to ship back the RP (gladly) at their expense and they will send out what I ordered asap. Agreed their packaging was pretty rough
Yeah, I could see that being an easy mistake. They look so much alike and everything.
Hahaha! Yeah I was pretty pissed when they landed on Friday.
You mean cigars aren't supposed to look like that? Someone better tell Herrera Esteli.

Thought I'd post this here in case anyone missed it when mentioned in another thread (courtesy of @frjeff): www.Cigarsintl.com/SHFREE4A

Not only does that give you free shipping, but also a 10-stick sampler consisting of:

2 – 5 Vegas Series ‘A’ Artisan (5” x 52)
2 – Gurkha Class Regent Gran Robusto (5.7” x 52)
2 – HC Series Maduro Robusto (5” x 50)
2 – Ramon Bueso Genesis The Project Robusto (5” x 50)
2 – Sosa Robusto (5” x 54)

A buck a piece, including shipping - a great deal! All good sticks, even the Gurkha (one of the best I've had from them, despite the damn burn issues). Haven't had the 5 Vegas 'A' yet, but it's supposed the be one of their best (which isn't saying much for me, so far). Thought the HC was a nice, easy-going maduro and the Genesis pretty damn good (just finished one, in fact). The Sosa needs some age, and isn't up to other Fuentes, but nice for the price. These deals rarely let you combine the free shipping code, so I think it's a no-brainer.

I'm guessing the free shipping will work even without the sampler, though.

There's a reason why they are a buck each, they're all dog rockets!
Are they? I have yet to try any HC or 5 Vegas... Was looking for an inexpensive sampler to try out.
Er, no, they're not - at least not to me and a lot of other folks who've tried them.... We all have our own tastes, but the 5 Vegas 'A' and the Genesis are both widely praised - the latter is damn fine for $5 let alone $1 (just had one last night). Other Xikar HCs are also raved about, and the only reason I'm guessing this one isn't is because it's so mild (and therefore a great starter maduro). Sosa's are Fuente-made and good given some age, and that Gurkha is considered one of their best, even begrudgingly by Gurkha haters (and got a 91 rating, for whatever that's worth). This might not be a trendy bunch of cigars, but they're well made, and have a range of flavor profiles, especially for a noob. Go online and read some reviews rather than taking one or two guys' opinions. There is a general consensus on some these.

@Phil McKrackin, I'm curious as to whether you've smoked all of these, and what about them makes you say they're dog rockets? I mean, they may not be Anejos, LP9s, or Padrons, but it's not like they're Ron Mexico, Garcia y Vega, Victor Sinclair, or 5 Vegas Gold Maduro either.

Fieldsupply is indeed making it right, at their expense. Spoke to Stephen D and he was right on point. Between him and Amber who facilitated the resupply of the Ligas after the belis ran out, they're doing everything right except packing knives and loose cigars together ;)

They'd make it a lot more right by offering such a deal again... For those of us who missed it! :p

I personally have tried all but the gurkugh. I agree, they aren't Ligas, Anejos, etc. But I can attest that all are palatable, even 'good'. The 5V is one of the better cheapies. And the Genesis is one of my favorite cigars. They age hella well and for a buck, definetly worth a try.

I tend to smoke my non fancy cigars when I drink, not because I don't taste them, but they aren't complex. I have a couple $150 bottles of scotch in my cabinet, but I still have Johnny Walker for the 3rd glass and beyond.

Plus if you were to pay for shipping on a purchase, you spend $6-7. For free shipping on the entire order (saves 7 bucks) you essentially get these for $3. Not bad, even for Rons.

Thanks for the heads up, FAFISD. Not sure what I did wrong (or right...I was multitasking and not paying too much attention)...but mine was $57 shipped.
