... anywhere in the country, where would it be? Or would it be the same area you're at now and what makes it a great place to live?

I'd love to live in Colorado but growing up with virtually no winter in Texas makes me second-guess...

Looking forward to your serious thoughts and suggestions.

Heck, I live in Arizona, wouldn't change it for nothing. I love the weather. I grew up in Texas, moved to Wisconsin for a year, St Louis, then South Bend, IN. Of all the places, this is the place!

Hmmmm...I love living in Florida, but honestly, I think the wander-lust is starting to set in. There's lots to love about living here, but the summers can be brutal and lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng. I don't miss the winter though, so it's a tough call. I like the IDEA of the midwest...lots of open space, beautiful country....but then there's that Winter thing again.

I like Cincinnati but if I can convince the wife to let me tranfer to Florida I'd move in a heartbeat. I'm sick of snow. My company has offices in Jacksonville and Orlando.

Calif is nice, weather-wise, but there are many drawbacks (high cost of living, traffic, politics, etc).

My next move will be my last ... and I'm looking hard at Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Hawaii

Strange that you just sneak Colorado in there. The rest are nice and warm.

I'd either move BACK into Manhattan, which is incomparable when it comes action, fun, culture, and socializing. Or I'd move back to San Diego, which is incomparable when it comes to weather, relaxation, and socializing.

As I get older, I think San Diego looks better and better. I'm such an idiot.

Orlando's just a hop, skip and a jump from here bro'. Be sure to let me know if that happens.

Lived in Maryland my whole life. For me and the family, we love it. DC is very close, about an hour away. Lots of fun free things to do like the Smithsonian Museums. Loads of restraunts, bars, and action too if that is your thing. Baltimore is also close, under an hour from me. Not my kinda of city, but again, lots to do. The Inner Harbour is fun and safe. We have the ocean 3 hours away. We have mountains 3 hours away. NYC is 4 hours away. We get 4 true seasons which is great to have. Sometimes they do not go in order, but I can not control that. No real natural disasters to worry about either.

FL and CA are great to visit, but I doubt I would want to live in either state. I despise the cold, so going north is out for me. Heading to AZ like Phoenix or Sedona or suburbs of Las Vegas, NV would be option #2 for me. All the browntones get boring, but would be a tradeoff for the nice weather year around.
