They peaked my interest because I absolutely love the baitfish, but I've yet to secure any.

Yeah I seen this on backorder, and other sites had preorder ...some sites u can order? One place said they were in stock on their website, but when I called them they said they dont have them.... Figured there would have been some more talk on these if they were released...so I'm guessing they were not...Thanks for the replies Gents!

Eh. These don't interest me.

A while back I had a couple baitfish, and they both just oozed that chalky molasses essence that a lot of lower-end maduros have. Haven't smoked another once since.

They were supposed to ship July/August originally but like most releases from DE you can add 3-4 months on to that

Agreed! I was disappointed to say the least given the hype.

I am looking forward to the nica rustica in 4.5x50, but they can keep this one.

I saw a rep for DE yesterday in a local B&M and he said they should be out by the 16th. I assumed he meant this month.:dunno:
