Congrats on one year at BOTL and as someone who made a similar career change a few years back I say welcome to the business. This is a great industry and hopefully the challenges we face won't be to difficult for us.
Thanks cMac! I survived health care reform in the insurance industry, and that industry is not anywhere near as closely tied together as the cigar industry. Together I think we will all make it through whatever the government throws our way!

Yesterday marked my one year anniversary on BOTL, and what a year it has been.

We've moved twice, lost my mother-in-law to cancer, short sold our old house, celebrated 10 wonderful years with my wife, watched my daughter go off to kindergarten and my son learn to walk, smoked some amazing cigars with friends, played a small part in raising a TON of money for children's education, and have had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with some amazing friends on BOTL! The last year has certainly been full of ups and downs, but through it all, my friends and brothers here stuck by me. For that I am eternally grateful.

The number one question that I have gotten over the last year from people on BOTL is "do you work for Famous". While I am lucky enough to have some great friends that work there, been blessed to meet some amazing manufacturers I now consider friends, and spend way to much time there, the answer was always no. That is until yesterday. Yesterday afternoon I accepted the position of Project Manager with Famous Smoke Shop. After 15 years in the insurance industry, I will finally have the opportunity to apply my skill set to something I am very passionate about.

Nothing will change for me here. I am not taking over the Famous account on BOTL, and I wont be spamming the board. Same PSJC, same crazy bombing mentality, same shoulder to lean on for those that are in need.

I'm really excited to start this new chapter of my life, and wanted to share that excitement with all of my brothers and friends here.

Thank you all for helping me get through the last 12 months. I couldn't have done it without you!
