Motzek curly in a Dunhill Shell Briar Zulu. with many thanks to Stukibuilt
Nice looking pipe. I am just wondering what is the difference of the Zulu and the Yacht shapes do you know? I have 4 of them zulu shapes but always thought they were Yacht. Is it a Dunhill name of pipe?
I've only heard Zulu, never heard of yacht. Maybe it's a pop/soda type thing...

Smoking my 1955 Kaywoodie Filter Plus pipe filled with some McClelland Black Woods Flake, This is my second bowl because I couldn't figure out what one of the bowls to smoke so I have smoked both. Well starting on the second one now. I have 3 total bowls and 2 pipes. I never had the pair to the second pipe I have. These are good for flakes and other tobacco but mainly use it for Flake tobaccos.

Have a great day
James

Trying to get back in the game. No pipes or cigars for over a month. Since before the twins were born, actually.
Took care of that first cigar last week, then spent some days with a bag of Straus Tobacconist Sleepy Hollow from @cigarblunk in an MM cob/Forever Stem combo, Sav 320 Marron Glace, and my BOTL Nord. Dive right in, the water's fine!

How's that Sleepy Hollow? Seems like the perfect aromatic for a VaPer/English smoker. If Jason Dagner likes it, it has to be good, because he always says aromatics aren't for him. I had them put me on the waiting list this morning.

I bought 4 oz. early in the month and have had three bowls. Just not an aro guy but it's nice change of pace. It tastes like a pumpkin spice with vanilla to me.

BOTL Nording!??
it was a dogpile bomb on clint. actually there are two of them, as i got that same nord in a different finish for BBE IX. so, it IS a BotL nord, just not an OFFICIAL one. but it still counts. o)
Where can other BOTLs find said pipe so they don't feel left out?

it was a nording valhalla series, maybe an X06 (mine is a 506, as it is the natural finish). pretty sure mine was from emerson's, possibly clint's as well. as i said, it wasn't an official BotL thing, so much as he and i were both handed a briar purchased by some brothers.

i see a couple from pipesandcigars and milantobacco currently, without digging too deep.

Time for some Dunhill Flake in a Dr. Grabow zulu.

So this pipe only holds about 2/3rds of this size flake. Fold & stuff didn't work, had to rub the flake out.

This tobacco was good, but was missing strength and spice? Are there any English or VaPer flakes? If not, which full strength Virginia flakes would you recommend?
