So I stopped in my local B&M today and Gerry (the owner) very excitedly showed me the new Warped Cigars that recently arrived. There in all of their glory front and center on a table in the humidor was the El Oso and La Colmena cigars from Warped Cigars! I smoked an El Oso earlier in the summer that I purchased from another local B&M and was quite impressed with it's aesthetics, however the burn was quite disappointing.

In the middle of the boxes on the table there was a can of Unico Especials sitting there, foot sticking out with a beautiful golden wrapper that really caught my eye. I picked one up to examine and it was more of a piece of art with its very smooth, well constructed wrapper, closed foot and tapered head. All of my senses came together immediately and agreed that this is the one that I will set fire to right now!

This beauty was so appealing I cut and lit it before I even sat down. This cigar was mind blowing from the first puff all of the way to the last. I am not good at articulating flavors of a cigar but the La Colmena Unico Especial is the best new cigar I have had in quite a few years. It is definitely a must try cigar for all of the BOTL in my opinion. Best wishes to the guys at Warped Cigars, I hope that this will be a regular production cigar!

Thanks for the update. I have been a big fan of Kyle and what he is doing with Warped. I look forward to trying all of the new lines.

Thank you for the support guys!

And Big Tex, the Unico Especial is a limited edition run, 10,000 cigars (1,000 tins of 10), only were done. La Colmena 36 and 44 are regular production. So happy to hear you enjoyed!

I would happily get a tin from small batch if I were able to try one & liked it. I'm going to ask my B&M if they have gotten any samples they can send my way. From what I'm hearing it's up my alley.
