Earlier Tried some really old Kentucky club aromatic (10+urs)that I randomly got from a fleabay lot with some other stuff I was interested in, definitely not for me
I'm gonna have to buy a Great Eastern Cutlery jack knife just to cut this tobacco.

This works well for me
Yep, my fav all around slicer /kitchen knife, wicked sharp and can slice thin, got a whole set from sams club a few years back for 20-30bucks
Went up state today to winterize my dads cabin. Had a bowl of Larry's blend in a Kaywoodie Supergrain on the way up. Then had some Three Nuns in a MM Country Gentleman and Anni Kake in an Ampora X-tra 815 while doing the work.

Yeah good luck finding it!! I had an 8 oz. bag a while back and was dead set on selling it but decided to give it a go. Big mistake! I smoked the 4 oz I kept for myself.
Stukibuilt graciously sent me a half oz. in my pipe maw and now it's gone. Such is life. It will come back around soon I feel. I've seen some esoterica popping up here and there it's bound to hit and when it does I hope to catch it. In the meantime I'm going to start looking at other VA/Bur blends.

Tonight i thought i would try something that i hadn't tried yet. Opened a New tin of Ole Shenandoah Barrel No. 76 in my Savinelli 626 pocket. First of all, I am starting to see a trend in Lane Ltd tins. They don't seems to seal very well once you open them. Smells of Vanilla and hints of it in the taste of the smoke as well. Opening the tin first thing it reminded me of was Captain Black (White). Also has hints of the same flavor. Strange thing is that looking at the 2 tobaccos you can clearly see CB is darker tobacco and more types of tobacco. Where the OS 76 has some Black Cav and Burley. 3/4 way into the bowl of this OS 76 I start to get some hints of spice like pepper. That is something I don't get with CB. I could find my self smoking this tobacco a couple of times a day. Not as often as i smoke CB however. Don't pick up much of the Cocoa over the normal part of the smoke. However if i Retro, that is the flavor that I get. However if i smoke it hot and fast I can get the Cocoa to show.
