I'm a little amazed it isn't infused. Since I don't have any pappy I'll pass.
With potential FDA regulation looming and the future of flavored/infused cigars up in the air it doesn't surprise me that it is not infused. You'd have to leave it to Gurkha for that, lol

It certainly seems interesting and given JD's taste for bourbon I imagine it will pair well. Looking forward to one of our bourbon guys here giving it a shot and a review.

As someone who's been trying chase down some Pappy and BTAC for that matter, I find the following line from the website interesting:
"It is the perfect choice for pairing with any of the Van Winkle bourbon and rye products."
Considering how difficult procuring a bottle of any Van Winkle release is, it's hard to imagine how many people would actually be blessed with the opportunity to enjoy the cigar WITH even a drop of Van Winkle. Kudos to DE for co-branding and timing the cigar release with the fall release of Pappy. It's pretty smart but it feels a bit opportunistic or disingenuine given the extremely limited and nearly impossible odds of procuring Van Winkle.
