rob, never realized you were a photographer. it's that time of year again and i'm eyeing new bodies. i'm still using an old Canon 5Dc but it's hard to justify the cost for a hobby i've neglected for a while. anyways, now your screen name makes sense, haha :flagger:

I'll shoot you a PM with my email address - I'd be happy to talk to you about options.

And thanks, Pierre!

Two bombs landed today and, again, BOTL generosity is way too much.

First, FullyArmedFISD and is trademark storm trooper foot band

And then Griz nails me with a bunch of pipe tobacco.some of it I have had before and others I have not. Looking forward to all of them. I have an unopened 10 of the meat pie that I have been dying to try but didn't want to crack the 10 yet. So that sample was perfectly timed.

Thanks guys

Rob, so how was the meat pie? I opened that to send to you but didn't get a chance to try it myself yet... Been busy in the shop today and I sold some of my wood working tools and had to help load them, the 900 pound planer was a real trip getting it loaded....

Well, to begin, I have become a fan of English blends so I before I even lit it, I was expecting that I'd like it. And I wasn't disappointed. I didn't find it particularly strong but the latakia flavor is certainly present. Has a real nice smokiness to it.

I need another bowl to round out my thoughts but I had a great first impression of it and it's mild enough that I could smoke it at any point during the day.

One note - I did set it out on some parchment paper for about 3 hours before smoking it and I had no issues keeping it lit (a couple of relights throughout the bowl but certainly not an excessive amount).

Can't decide if I want a cigar or a bowl this afternoon but, if it's a bowl, it will be the meat pie again.
