My wife has horses, 4 of them. She is also a part time photographer. Women got to have hobbies too. But, there are no secrets in my marriage. She knows how many pipes, cigars, and baccy I have. I wouldn't dare keep it from her.

Goodness I almost feel guilty about the way my prior post sounds, I don't hide a thing, she knows I like cigars and baccy the same way I know she love shoes...... And I don't pay a bit of attention to all the shelves full of em

heck, we've been married longer than you've been alive:( we don't keep secrets, but after MANY years of being married Ya learn to ignore what the other one is doing. We have a great relationship, at least I think so, I just have stuff sent here so you all dont get my dang address And I just found out today I aint gonna have this address much longer either, I usually don't tell her that I got anything, she just notices that the baccy cellar keeps growing.... and growing, ect.
We always had the way of thinking that, if you got the money and want something, get it. Unless its a huge purchase of course.

My wife "knows" about my cigars and that I have few pipes.

But she's never seen the inside of my humidor or all the tins of pipe baccy or the (as of last count) 18 pipes. So I don't think that she fully appreciates the actual amount that I now have.

I would certainly tell her if she asked. I'm just happy that she doesn't.

Same here- I don't hide it from her, but she was shocked at my hoarding LOL. She has a new car and I drive a beater truck, on and on. It's a give and take.

Sounds just like me, I always tell her to get a new one I'll take over after it hits 100k or so so she can get another, I guess we're blessed enough that it doesn't matter either way so we don't really ask

Though she did question that 400$ leaf blower, but it made clearing the yard sooooo much easier and the time savings is worth it, oh and I can now easily smoke a cigar while doing it.... Almost doesn't feel like work anymore

On items like the leaf blower, one has to evaluate the investment vs. time saved- I guarantee if it saves even 2 hours that blower has already paid for itself.

I didn't really man to start anything fellas. To each their own and all. I typed that before my morning cup of coffee, so I might have come off a little harsh

Yeah, ditto on the beater truck thing. I also wear a uniform everyday so she gets all the clothes budget. Lol

That's exactly how we look at it, too. I sure hope my post didn't come across as "holier than thou" because I sure as hell ain't!

She knows I have a lot of cigars and pipes and she chooses not to care as long as it doesn't prevent us from having a roof over our head or food on the table.

Definitely didn't start anything, I personally think it's interesting how spouses feel about our habits

It takes a lot to ruffle my feathers lol

My wife has no idea how much $$ is tied up in my humidor and cellar. If she were to ask, I'd fake a heart attack. If she found the receipts, I'd feign dementia. I got this baby covered, and we were able to enjoy a nice little trip down to Nicaragua to check out retirement properties. (And cigar factories.) o_O

I kid, I kid.... kinda.

Back on track, lol.
I was able to jump on the last of the BnB groupons before they were gone. Purchased 2 $100 groupons @ $49 each and was refunded $34. I sat on them for a little while and BnB had a $15 off orders of $100+ so I figured it was time to spend them. I also decided it was time to purchase my first brand new brand name pipe. Here is what I ended up with for a total of $84.98 out of pocket after shipping. These are also all new tobaccos to me.

JomoTech 2ml Vivi Nova Cartomizer Tank with 3 coils (new vape tank for the wife)
Savinelli Brunello Flake Pipe Tobacco 100g Tin (This was thrown in free for buying a Savinelli pipe.)
G.L. Pease Haddo's Delight Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tins
G.L. Pease Jacknife Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tin
G.L. Pease Odyssey Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tins
Cornell & Diehl Bayou Morning Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tins
Cornell & Diehl Kajun Kake Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tins
Cornell & Diehl Gentlemen Callers Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tins
Cornell & Diehl Night Train Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tins
Cornell & Diehl Pirate Kake Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tins
Cornell & Diehl Old Joe Krantz Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tins
Cornell & Diehl Yale Mixture Premium Pipe Tobacco 2oz Tins
Dunhill Aperitif Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin
Erinmore Flake Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin
