What'll you have, Brother?

Let's post up the cocktail recipes that we are drinking at this moment, or that our some of our favorites! It doesn't have to be official (unless it's so complicated it can't be eyeballed). Have you concocted your own drink that we can all try? Share it here! Non-alcoholic variations (and photos) are always welcome! Please give credit where credit is due.

I'll start, I'm in the mood now for an easy one. A simple Vodka Soda:

1 fl oz Vodka (your choice)
1 can of Club Soda (reduced sodium)
1 lime wedge
1 lemon wedge

Combine Vodka and Club Soda in a large glass with plenty of ice, squeeze wedge of lemon and lime and enjoy!!

Number of Servings: 1

1 12 oz can of miller lite. Open and drink.

3 oz Makers
Pour Makers in Glass. Drink.
Repeat as needed.

The best cocktail I've ever had was from Spill the Wine in Minneapolis, called the Ginger Rye.
-Rye
-Campari
-Spicy Ginger (I think it's in syrup form)
-Lime

I still have dreams about it. Literally. Not sure on the exact proportions, but it's worth experimenting for.

Campari has a very distinct flavor. Like aspirin dissolved in vodka. I could pass on that one...

For me?

Scotch of choice. Glass. Repeat as necessary.

Call this the 'Banana Cognac Bitch'

2oz Hen-dog
1oz Creme de Banana
Heavy Cream

Served in an Old Fashion glass over ice

One of my favorites when I'm not drinking my whiskey straight.

Prendergast
1 1/2 oz. bourbon
3/4 oz. sweet vermouth
1/2 oz. Bénédictine
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Tools: mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
Glass: double rocks
Garnish: lemon twist

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and stir with ice cubes until chilled. Strain into a double rocks glass without ice, then garnish.

Try this with Cucumber vodka, it is the best with a squirt of lime juice (and maybe more vodka and not a full can of club soda ). Fantastic in the summer, and we enjoy it so much that it was signature drink at my wedding!

Remove cork from bottle. Drink until the bottle bubbles. Rinse and repeat.

When it's cold out I like to make a nightcap with Drambuie and whole milk. 1-2 parts Drambuie and 2-3 parts milk depending on how strong you like to mix things. Recipe is courtesy of a Dr I used to see (old guy that was hilarious). You will sleep like a baby guaranteed.

Hard to go wrong with Bourbon in a glass. But when I want something different I love a Vieux Carre:

On a hot day a Gin (good gin is a must, no cheap shit) and tonic with lime is killer imo.

Vodka, seltzer water, a splash of Pom, and a twist of lime is always a lady pleaser too.
