Well, on my first bowl- I usually reserve judgement until at least bowl three, but I give it a STRONG buy recommendation Dave. I'll put it this way- I bought three tins- two for the cellar and one to smoke. If you don't like it, I will buy it from you.

GL Pease makes the majority his blends ready to smoke but designed for aging. As far as the special spirit- no idea. Towards the bottom of this bowl it started to smoke hot and wet- will let it dry after I rub it out next time.

Had a couple firsts today. Started with Comoy's Cask 7, it was amazing with its Va/Per goodness. Bought my first tin of Molto Dolce, I am not a aro fan but this stuff has a great room note, my wife even liked it!

Another go with the peter stokkebye luxury navy flake. Last time I did the fold and stuff method. This evening tried rubbing it out first. Same pipe. It has more flavor rubbed out it seems. Also seems to burn much better as well. Looks like I need to play with some more flakes.
I am yet to get the fold n stuff or roll n stuff methods with success, I always rub it out and dry to however much I think is necessary
