Hopefully this thread doesn't exist and after a quick search using minimal keywords nothing came up. But if it does feel free to close/merge this thread.

Back on topic, what are your favorite underrated or sleeper cigars? Maybe a small batch or lesser known manufacturer? Maybe a big name brand or line and a particular vitola? What cigar do you love that no one is talking about?

One of my favorite sleeper sticks is the Wilson Adams Sumatra and I never hear anyone talk about this brand let alone this particular line. I was turned onto this brand a few years back by a friend of mine and have since fallen in love with their sumatra line of cigars. While the robusto is my favorite, several people I have recommended this cigar to swear by the 6x60 none of whom are particular fans of big RG's. Having tried both sizes I can attest they are both excellent smokes I just personally prefer the punch of the robusto. To me this cigar is rich with chocolate, earth, leather and spice. I am a big tatuaje fan and I think if you enjoy Pete's smoke you might enjoy these as well.

So what are you favorite under the radar sticks? I am always looking to try new cigars and I am hoping we can share some secrets and maybe help each other try a new cigar we wouldn't have otherwise reached for.

In case anyone is curious, the wilson adams sumatra is,
Origin: Nicaragua
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder: Pennsylvania Broadleaf
Filler: Predominantly Nicaraguan

I picked up a box of Varina Farms Winter Warmer based on a review I read. I smoked one ROTT after being in the mail for about two weeks and I was very impressed. I grabbed them from "the devils site" for 28 bucks for a box of ten. They say it's a limited edition with only 3000 boxes made but who knows. For 28 bucks I'll probably try to snag another box.

I've got two for YA Irie

AJ Fernandez San Lotano Oval - (this cigar was given a 96 rating for what that's worth to you)

Amazing smoke, very cubanesque and never talked about.

Sam Lechia El Luchador -

This stick can be had in the 3ish dollar range on the devils site and I'd say if you're a fan of Tats, you'll find something familiar about the flavors (to me anyway) even if you don't, they are tasty sticks and never talked about.

I agree with both of those...

both are affordable and generally considered "budget" sticks by most I think.. so they rarely get much fanfare...

but Ive got a box of Oval and a 5'ver of El Luchador in the humi right now if thats any sort of testimony as to what I think of them... great sticks!

I'd put the Ramon Bueso Genesis in the same category (very low cost, but great flavors, well made, etc..)... but.. that one seems to get talked about quite a bit more than the other two..

For me lately....Punch Rare Corojo Champion. It's a figurado amd has great flavor. I'm really digging the whole Rare Corojo lineup. We went to Holt's in Philly and I picked up a few. I was pleasantly surprised and now keep them as a regular rotation stick in the humi.

I will vote for the Luchador also. I've only had one, but it was great. I need to snag some more of those up. I do like the Puro Authentico's as well. I am currently smoking Baccarat The Game and I wasn't a huge fan at first, but it's growing on me the further I get into it. It's a nice mild smoke.

I absolutely love the Esteban Carreras Chupa Cabra natural, not as much of a fan of the maduro. Very tasty with loads of chocolate and some spice. Haven't had a ton of them because there are so many good sticks and a limited amount of time and humi space, but they are always solid.
