I won't shut up about Verdadero Organic. If you like mild/mild-med with really unique flavors, creaminess, and great construction, give them a try. Can be had for around $2. In fact, I need to get more! They also make a stronger sun grown OSG which I haven't tried yet.

When I lived in Europe there were 2 brands from the Canary Islands I liked, Capote (about half corona size), and especially Condal which to me had a similar flavor to CC Montecristos.

One more vote for the San Latano Oval and the Man O' War PA. My first premium cigar was an Oval, don't think I realised how good I had it at the time!

I'd also add the MoW Side Projects in the Chisel and Corona vitola, really enjoy them.

If its a sleeper, not necessarily cheap, I like the Butera 652. Overlooked because its a pricey Connie, but it is SO tasty.

This, especially the maduro.

I should revisit the San Lotano Oval cause the two i have had in the past were pretty god awful.
I find that most of AJ Fernandez's stuff sucks unless it has some age, even 6 months. I need to get a few more and lose then in the bottom of my cooler.

PDR 1878 line (the ones with large pigtail and double bands). Especially the Capa Maduro and the Capa Oscuro.
This. Especially the corona and lancero. But any size works for me.

El Gran Rey I think is fairly underrated. I had never had a Curivari until I switched B&Ms, but I was really impressed by this one. Does need some rest though to shake some bitterness.

I can smoke most of his stuff fresh and its ok.. but.. you are right.. I find that if Ill lay them down for 6-12 months, I typically get a much more positive experience out of it..

This is especially true for the diesel unholy cocktails... fresh I find them to be pretty harsh... but.. I usually buy one of those 30 count corona tins/cans in the early winter.. and just lay it down until its grass cutting season... after they have had all winter and most of the spring to rest.. they become a go-to "yard gar" for me.. hard to beat the price (I can usually grab a 30 count can off of cbid for about $60) for what you get if youll let them rest before smoking..

The Rip Van Winkle Maduro is a great sleeper...

Again, my vote goes to the Henry Clay Brevas Finas.....Has been a go-to, consistent cigar for literally 20 years. Nice chewy, oily CBL wrapper, lots of peppery spice...Not a 'wow' cigar that takes you on a roller coaster of ever changing flavors, but a good solid smoke.

I watched Pete Johnson put down a CG Black to light up a Henry Clay once at a herf....That says a ton :)

Most pass them over at the B&M because they look all mashed up and misshaped...I believe this is due to the wet bundling they do when packaging...Again, this process has also not changed over the decades. They age well, too.

THIS! Love those corona's after they have been resting a while. Definitely a go to when yard work calls.

I agree with the Wilson Adams, totally under the radar, but we reviewed the lancero here, and it got a 95.
I would add Total Flame FTW, Joya CyB, George Rico American Puro, and Puros de Ballard.
