How do you pronounce "San Andrés?"

San (like 'sand'without the d) and Andrés is like 'undress' but with the same 'an' sound as in sand replacing the 'un'.
Got it?

But the tobacco type is spelled Andres, not Andreas. Are you sure they are pronounced the same?

I've wondered this same thing as well. I've always thought that it was pronounced "on-dress"

Can't really appreciate it until you spend an evening with the mighty amoyas that swarm Lake Catemaco in San Andreas Tuxtla… they don't bite, but damn if they don't end up in very orifice you got… <sigh> I took JD one time and he swore he would never return. :>
