Picked up a box of those Nica Libres a couple of months ago on Cbid. Great $2 smoke. I feel good about giving them out to my buddies who rarely smoke cigars that want to join in on occasion, but don't want to get into to cigars. I would never give them something I wouldn't smoke, but don't want to waste a $10 stick if they have no interest in the hobby.

Nica libres are great. Fro $2 a stick, you cant go wrong.

The Nicaraguan 90+ rated. I think most agree they're Padrons, but I haven't smoked one yet. I'll burn one tonight and venture a guess.

Just smoked through one of those seconds, and I'm not sure if it's Padron or Oliva, but they're good. I'm a big fan of how a Belicoso will concentrate the flavor of a stick right on to your tongue, and it had a honeyed, spicy retrohale that was very satisfying.


ETA: Lots and lots and lots of ligero. The last third was spicy and prickly on the tongue like good wasabi. I don't think it's Oliva anymore. Too spicy.
