On a side note... just smoked a real one and after I got past the fact that it was a 58 RG it was really good. Not sure if it's $40 good which is the going price but it was good!

It's a Google Image search picture, but it looks like it is to me. Just a shitty cell phone pic. This looks like an individuals photo it's not from habanos SA or anything.

Looking at them side by side I concede that the EL band looks off (the dots are the wrong size). There seems to be a little harder white line under the Indian head on the neck as well. I'll avoid from GIS images in the future and only post images where I know the source.
It's been on the PEs, but they started putting it on everything this year.
The shear amount of counterfeited pre-release sticks that were 'made' available to the public on this EL was nothing more than magical.
No, they run the gambit. It used to be that smaller marcas got a pass, but not anymore. Cohiba and Montes seem to be the most popular though in the ones I've seen personally, as most people associate those names with Cuban cigars as they have a pretty significant market share.

Smaller marcas are harder to find, but there are "samplers" of sorts you can get for the knock offs that usually will carry others. I mean, after all, habanos is going to sell like a five pack of samplers in a dingy Bahamas sweat market for 10 bucks right?
