Do box pressed cigars look weird to you?

Do box pressed cigars look weird to you?
Especially ones where the corners are so sharp they look like they were made at the local dry cleaners?

Don't get me wrong, the Padron Anniversaries are awesome, and I would not toss one out because of their squareness, but extreme box pressed cigars just look strange to me...

Nope. The LFD Factory Press has always impressed me for some reason. Too bad it's a bitch to get them out of the box because some idiot took the ribbon out. Happens in every B&M.

The most creased box press I've seen so far was the Quesada 40th box press Salomone. Literally had a 90° angle on the press. I'll see if I can find a pic

Lol...Neither, just saw a Padron or something on a website and thought it looked so odd.
Maybe the photographer just caught a bad (90 degree) angle, lol

You should see the LFD Factory press 1. I have 2 in the humi and they are a 60rg super box pressed. Edges so sharp they might be able to split logs.

this. all the factory press lfd's have always boggled my mind. can't get more extreme than that. not my pic, but look at this thing. lol. the only one that's ever bothered me is that alec bradley diamond...it's a box-press, but it just looks wrong to me.

Honestly... I hate the concept of box pressed cigars.

Now, some box pressed cigars are really, really good, and some of my favorites are box pressed -the Padron 80th comes to mind. But to me that's just the quality of the blend, and I can help wondering how much more I'd enjoy a round version of the same cigar.

A box press just feels uncomfortable/odd in the mouth to me. Same for the "oval" shape (C4 for example), it just feels weird.

I didn't used to be a fan of the box press, but I'm coming around to it. I like that I can have a 54rg and it doesn't feel like I'm breaking my jaw trying to smoke it. I think the Jericho Hill LBV or the Tat TAA 2014 is what started to turn me.
