Don Carlos bands Old vs New

When'd did the bands change from te shorter band to the current ones with the thick gold strip added on the bottom? What year if anyone knows.

Thanks guys, I went to my local and he has some of the old band (which I bought two of) and some of the new. He said that they were old but didn't say how old. Now I know. It was tasty as hell too.

I have asked this same exact question and never gotten anything definitive. I heard anything ranging from 09'-11'. Hopefully someone more knowledgable can chime in since I have both.

I'm 98% sure that style of band was originally on the short story maduros in 2011...So I'd imagine those are from 2011 at the latest.

they staged the new band releases. don carlos first, then hemmi, then anejo. the '13 anejo had the sparkly bands, the '12 hemmi, and the '11 don carlos.

mind, fuente had to sell out of old stock, then retailers, but that's when i started seeing them hit the streets.
