I agree. The mode 5 Aquitaine was phenomenal. I haven't had a CroMag yet, but plan on hopefully scooping a few up soon.

As for something a bit under the radar that I really enjoyed - the Fratello corona.
How long did you have the Fratello's. I bought a 5er and let em sit for a few weeks; I've smoked two and gifted one. I had wrapper issues with the two I've smoked and I didn't think they tasted all that great. Maybe it's just me?

Most of them had maybe a month in my humidor, but I have smoked a few soon after picking them up from my b&m. I've never noticed any wrapper issues. All of them have been well constructed and burned great.

This all relates to the corona size tho. I have had one robusto and while the construction was fine, I enjoyed the corona much more.

Fair enough, I'll have to let the other two chill out for a while and revisit them. The ones I have are the coronas. I'm partial to smaller ring gauges.

I've noticed the disdain for Patel as well. I'll have to learn the hard way though as my local B&M has a line specific to Memphis called Beale St Cigar that is done by RP just for them and I have to try it out and see what it's about

Hmm, well whatever the reason, as long as it's not something horrible, I will continue to smoke them since I like them.

Thats the prevailing theme smoke what you like. Because of this site I've tried different stuff and my tastes have changed from where I started. I still like AB tho no matter what Rasshat says about them lol.

I have been warming up to the Caldwell Murcias, which is part of the "Junior Varsity" series. Nice smoke with good consistency.

The Bellatto/Caldwell/Sears Stout was a nice find for me.Also the Anejo 888.
Hadn't heard much about either until I came across them.
