Beep beep my arse! I'll run you right over!
Right? Only three pipes?A cry for help if I've ever seen it, I don't think I have your address though
I've owned over 100 pipes! Rex can testify to that. Bought and sold quite a few estate pipes. Just kept 3 that i wanted (don't need anymore). And 2 broken corn cobs lol only cause they look cool on displayRight? Only three pipes?
Drop shipments are awesome. Plus it allows you to continue aging all that good tobacco in your cellar, and you don't have to worry about making it to the post office before closing time!Working 12 hrs everyday. Pulling 3-5 hrs sleep everyday. No time to dig thru cellar or humi. Drop ship is easy. Dangerous in the middle of the night while I'm so tired. Lol
Yup! I don't know how many times I've sent something out I've been trying to age. But it's all good. Always seem to get more in return fire. I mark all my gifted tins on the bottom so I know not to trade or send them out. I just can't keep track of who sends me what. It's just impossible for me. So drop shipping is perfect for me.Drop shipments are awesome. Yes, I would say it is quite salvageable. First, if it is only a bit loose you may want to try just smoking it. When an old pipe sits the briar gets dry and can shrink. Smoking it will get some moisture in the wood and may get it to expand enough to where the stem fits properly again. If that doesn't work or it is really loose, get some clear acrylic nail polish and paint the stem where it enters the shank. Put as many coats on as necessary until you are happy with the fit.Curious if you guys think this pipe is salvageable. The stem is fairly loose it seems
Will do. I'm considering devoting it to Va and VaPer tobacco...I really like that. Please post pics of it as you smoke it.
Nope straight from Mark Tinsky ( www.amsmoke.com ). I asked for him to make me one with a 2" bowl height, birch insert, and the tortoise colored acrylic stem. They usually come with a black stem. Was that from eBay? Looks like one I had looked at for a bit!
He was right. That is a great looking pipe just as it sits. I would have had a hard time going for the rusticated after seeing that one.He made this one first, but e-mailed me saying the grain was way too good to rusticate, so he had to do another one for me!
