I have been talking about sending cigars to our troops for a while, and I am finally going to do it!

After sifting through many threads here, I have found that sending cigars directly to Cigras for Warriors represents the easiest and most effective way to get cigars to our troops. Apparently they ship the cigars directly to soldiers, and take care of the customs forms and USPS paperwork.

Just wondering if anyone has had any direct experience with them? Any tips or advice?

Thanks in advance for any feedback :)

I'm the, for the lack of a better term, Technology Director for Cigars For Warriors. What would you like to know?
I was just going to write that dscl was the guy to talk to!

I've done a couple of contests where I've asked people to bomb CfW. One other option - the cost of sending the cigars overseas is really expensive so a cash donation (via LapYap) to help pay for shipping is also appreciated by them.

CFW is legit and I know many of the guys involved and working their butts off to support the troops. Wish they had been around when I served! We can always have our troops here that are deployed or getting ready to deploy contact CFW to get on the list. I organized a cigars for the troops 3 times I think and it is a ton of work. These guys have it down.

I have used CFW in the past and the process was very easy, no problems. Let me know if I can assist, I'd be happy to throw a few extra sticks in with the everyone else

Bryan Glynn of Cigarobsession.com is actually doing a donation drive right now for the next five weeks. Last year they gathered over 2500 cigars for the troops. His website has more info.
