Hmm.. cant say I really collect anything, I tend to go headfirst into any hobby I'm interested in and "collect" until I figure out exactly what I want.

Cars - I do a few track days a year, but no longer own a car for it. At one time I had 7 "racecars"

Motorcycles, still ride sparingly, but with kids, not so easy for wife and I to ride, so back burner. Once had 6. Now 3.

Cigars. A current exploration, but tapering down now that I've found what I like.

Guns. Never really cared for true collectable models, though I own some vintage Colts, more or less cleared out most of the ones I dont use regularly.

Beer. Was once a big hobby of mine, seeking out and collecting some rare htf brews, but got more into homebrewing and just make something similar for less.

I can't say there's anything I really collect simply for the purpose of collecting/having. But any hobby I get interested in, I explore all corners, then narrow down, and trim the collection.

I think the only things I buy without practical use, simply for acquisition and accumulation would be LEGO sets. But again, not necessarily the collectable items, just stuff I think is neat

I collect Antique Coca-Cola Memorabilia, i have several bottles, posters, signs, and my parents have collected the village houses for my entire life and they gave me them last year so i have about 80 porcelain coke village houses complete with figurines, street lights, cars, trucks, and trees. we set it up every year around christmas (except for this year because we are in process of moving). i also collect Military Challenge coins, i have collected the entire time i was active duty and now that I'm out its time to move on to something else. tried to post some pics but it says the files are too large.

Once in a while my credit card reward points have Toys R Us as one of the gift card options, so I use the reward points for 25-50 bucks, then wait till theres a coupon, and then buy one of the big sets.

Didn't get any this year though. Did honestly buy some for the boy. The 2015 LEGO releases were leaked, there's several upcoming sets I'd like to grab. Namely the re release of the pirates sets, those were the first model LEGO sets i had (still have) and would like a few of the new ones.
