Colder than hell today! Been smoking cigars on and off since I turned 18, but I have been getting into them at a more serious level for the last year or so. I'm active on other kinds of forums, but this is the first cigar specific forum I am joining. I recently built a coolidor and am considering a DIY active humidification system for it. I enjoy building things myself. Everything from computers to houses.

I enjoy the ABC's of life - alcohol, bullets, and cigars. My screen name will tell you one of my other hobbies. I am a soybean breeder by trade and also enjoy building Halloween props to scare the kids each year.

Whereabouts in Iowa are you located? I am a salesman and get to various parts of the state plus my daughter lives in Des Moines so I am am usually somewhere in Iowa at least every couple of months. Once things warm up it might be nice to get together for a smoke.

That's my home state. I grew up in Prior Lake. Lived there until I went to college in WI. Dad is retired and now lives in Austin. We get up to see him a few times a year. I've been to Winona quite a few times.

I'm just east of Ames in Nevada. Pronounced Nu-vae-duh. Different from the state. Yes, would be nice to get together for a smoke when we can enjoy time on the deck. I'll drop you a note next time we head up to see Dad.

The local B&Ms around Ames are OK, mostly cigarette shops that have a humidor, but there's a couple nicer ones in Des Moines. I don't get to them very often. I've mostly taken to mail ordering now.

Cool....I know exactly where Nevada is and how to pronounce it LOL. My daughter went to Iowa state so I spent quite a bit of time going back and forth to Ames.
