I think I understand now..
Does this make it a meat pie?Today I made an apple pie. It's still cooling off. While I was preparing grating (nutmeg and cinnamon) I got my finger pretty good. What this all means is that there are probably fingertip sheds in my pie. As it's homemade, I consider this acceptable. I also intend to tell no one.
I once cut the tip of my finger off while chopping celery for gumbo. Went to the ER, got it fixed up and got pain meds. Came home , tip of the finger was still on the cutting board. But, I did finish making the gumbo....Today I made an apple pie. It's still cooling off. While I was preparing grating (nutmeg and cinnamon) I got my finger pretty good. I was working in a restaurant as a cook as a second job during school. One night when I was working on the meat slicer I fillet my left ring finger. Folded the meat back down, wrapped it up tight, and kept working. I really should have had it stiched.I once cut the tip of my finger off while chopping celery for gumbo.
