Smoking another sample gifted to me. This time of De Jose Gener La Escepcion in an old cob. From what I understand this stuff is more or less cigar scraps. The flavor supports that, tasting like a very mild cigar with slightly musty undertones. The strength is picking up a little as I smoke the bowl. While the flavor isn't necessarily bad, I can see using this as a mixer rather than smoking straight. I will have a few more bowls before solidifying my opinion.

He really should trademark this or something

EMP/Cob/Coffee
That is a cool looking French Press

I am in honor smoking also EMP/cob/coffee today ok yes drinking the coffee :) after making coffee today I seen it needs to run the clean cycle so as soon as that is over I can get back to working out in the cold. Next pipe when I am done with the EMP is some Plum Pudding in my Savinelli 622KS will finish the Plum Pudding today after that smoked in my Dr. Grabow Savoy bent.

Hope you all have a good day.

went to the cabin yesterday, had some of the HH Chestnut in my new Boswell's hefty Rhodesian. The pipe smoked wonderful as expected. The new baccy was, well, very mild with a little bite, may needed some dry time, slightly sweet but not overly impressive. Actually it reminded me of a better grade of Prince Albert. Good for a work smoke but not necessarily a sit down good enjoyable smoke. But that's just me.
