Just bought beads

Hey all, I just bought a 1/2 pound of beads, I picked up the 70% rh beads. I want to take a poll, on Rh bead Prefrences. which works for you best

yeah, but I was just wondering, I like 70 in my desktops. I am setting up to get a wine cooler and start aging some boxes, and that one I'm not sure of for RH.

I don't use beads but 65% work the best for me.

I run with an OasisXL but have 65% beads on the top shelf. If I don't my top shelf stays at about 60%.

I prefer 70-72. I don't know if it's my climate or something, but when I keep them at 65 or so, they turn out dry and harsh, keeping mine at 70 or even slightly higher keeps them smokeable for me

I have 70% beads, and my humi generally stays between 68-70% and everything is fine.

65% beads. In the summer it runs around 68% in the winter it goes down to 65%. Works for me.

I used to keep mine at 70% but had problems with plugged smokes when smoking outside in winter. Dropped to the 65% beads and haven't had a problem since other than occasional construction issues.

yea, beads are the way to go. i have three desktop humidors: a 75ct, a 150 ct, and my baby, a 300 ct.

my smallest i keep my cheap, nasty smokes in at 65%
my middle size is for my good NC's and they to are at 65%
in my big one, i keep all my CC's and Premium NC's. but those i keep at 60%. they just seem to smoke better and for some reason the humidity stays rock solid at 61-62%. when i had 65% beads in it, it was anywhere from 60-74%

He buys beads THEN asks for opinions. Nice going newbie :wink:, 65% for me and the Oasis keeps the RH at 63-64% RH all the time with beads to help.

I prefer the 65% level. I've found that they keep my cigars from haveing problems when I smoke them. That level is also one that stays more consistant for me.
