Started with this one, but draw was so tight and kept going out even after dry boxing. Had to pitch it and went to this

Decided to kick off LANCERO FEBRUARY with a Big Bang, my favorite cigar, a La Gloria Cubana Medale d'Or #1 from the year 2000. Probably the last one I'll ever smoke. Gone baby, gone.

If we discount how delicious it is for a moment, we can geek out on the fact that a 15-year-old stick smoked so well. Perfect burn, draw and construction. Never even had to relight it, let alone touch it up. The taste is outstanding. Horseradish and carrot. Very earthy, with some wood.
