Any hidden gems here? or bag of dog rockets?

Picked up a domincan grab bag off of cbid for less than a buck per stick. Figured I needed some giveouts for my non cigar smoking friends.
Anyone recognize a hidden gem? Or are these safe for non flavor savoring consumption?

First pic are the suspected rockets. Even though they are all new to me, I've done enough lurking to know Ive got some quality sticks in the other shots. The Rosalones I haven't heard much about yet though.

Nah man those look good! I can't comment on the first pict. But hell smoke em if they are crap by the second 3rd ditch it and fire up an undercrown!

I've never even heard of any of the sticks in the first picture. I can only imagine the look on the face of the guy that packed those UCs, the Padrons, and the Opus next to the dog rockets. I don't know if I would have laughed or been confused.

The La Estrella Cubana (fourth over from the left) is a pretty decent cigar.

i buy cheap sticks to give to friends who don't really smoke/can't appreciate a good cigar.. then i tell them it's aged a year or whatever and they say it's good and smooth lol

I think it is a Gurkha Sherpa. I have heard of them, but I've never actually seen one in the wild. It has the right band, but they aren't supposed to be candelas.

I got the same thing on cBid. I figured it was cheap and I could at least give them away to people who come over. Your's look a lot better than mine did. I wound up giving them to my brother in law who didn't like them either. the El Mejor looks okay.

So Ive got 4 that are worthy of smoking. The rest I'll give out when I have company....who am I kidding....I'll probably smoke those too lol.

After a quick Google, the band is the same. But the stick doesn't quite match up in appearance. Possibly rebanded? Strange.

Not that I'm an expert in Gurkha's lines, but I don't think I've ever seen a candela from them. That's shady as all hell though, if they rebanded a non-Gurkha, and are selling it as Gurkha. Even for those of us who are not Gurkha fans.

There were a few of those threads over on the other site. They were always good for a laugh, but I usually started to feel bad for the reviewer about 8 sticks into the samplers.

If someone where to re band a cigar for sell. Why make it so obvious?
