Thanks, I just got the triple Ellipse back from Xikar. Talk about making the light a much quicker process. It has been broken for well over a year and I finally sent it in. Thank you Xikar for your lifetime warranty. I can't even count how many I had to throw away before buying yours.

Do you find the soft flame to be a more efficient lighter for indoor use? I find myself refilling my xikar double torch every 1.5 cigars.

I don't even use the soft flame. Doesn't get me a good light. The speed of a torch makes it so much better. The one on the far right is a single and I can get several cigars and relights on a single tank. I think I paid $17 for it on Amazon. The Ellipse has a big tank too. It lit and relit 3 cigars and the tank is still 3/4 full.

I've been thinking of getting a couple of vintage "flat advertising" lighters to use for lighting my sticks. Does anybody know if they work well for the job?

I was thinking something like this,

Alright... as promised, here are the lighters I've done in the past (including the new Guerrilla Warfare).

First attempt was the UC lighter.

Second was the Las Calaveras lighter.

Finally... the GW lighter. This was the first attempt at putting a band on the lid, and it went well aside from not PERFECTLY lining up.

Not the coolest lighter collection, but at least I got a cool box to keep them in. Now if I actually had the sticks that go in it as well.

So, how do you get the band to stay in place? I might buy a zippo and insert just to do this.
I use a glue stick and clear coat over top. 04Edge40 places the band on the paint while it is still tacky and then puts a clear coat over top. Don't use Rustolium clear. It has been cracking here of late. Krylon is what holds up the longest.
