So I'm sitting here looking at ever growing mountains of snow outside (fast approaching 3 ft total) and am practically salivating over all the cigars I've bought recently, itching to get out and have a smoke. I don't know if I can take 7+ more weeks of this... I may have to carve out some time to get out to a lounge soon.

Anyone else dealing with this? If so, what's the first cigar you will have to celebrate the end of winter?
I think mine is going to be a Davidoff Special R that's been resting since last June.

I have had one cigar in 2 weeks. We got a foot of snow last week, was descent this past weekend but one got one stick in. I want warm weather to get here, but I may be building a house, so my summer herf might not be as numerous as I had hoped.

I wish I had a video of this. Just you standing in one place with your hytop tennis shoes on, maybe swaying a little bit to and fro.... Little puffs of smoke coming up...

I just get a nice little fuzzy feeling thinking about this.. :)

Hey from B-Lo. So sick of the snow brother...I always take a positive view of it, but this year and last have been tough! :hungover: I've spent the last 2 months blowing snow nearly every day (I'm in the Southtowns). This morning was so cold, I had snot-sickles by the time I was done. I installed a gas heater in the garage that can barely keep up. Thank God for my smoking jacket! Come springtime, I'll probably fire up the Opus X I got today. And a Davidoff Nicaragua. :cigar:

Today, it was standing outside watching the three little ones shovel enjoying a Tat something or another.

We haven't had near the amount of snow you guys have had but its been pretty cold. I try to get out on the patio a few nights a week dressed in insulated hunting bibs and parka, no heater, but this week will be tough. Highs in the low 20's and we had a good amount of freezing rain tonight.

I feel for you guys!!
That was use last year and thank goodness not this year. We have had a mostly mild winter and very little snow.
I still have to go out to the garage and fire up a couple of heaters to have my weekend smokes.

Okay, so we're doing pictures now? Here's my back yard, this past November. This was only day 2 of a three-day storm that totaled 7 feet and left 12 people dead:

Can't even imagine... Will be into the 80s all week.
80s would be so nice right now. I would be grateful for just the 20s! When I wake up to see a high of 4 degrees, the last thing I think about is bundling up to go outside for a cigar. I may have to convert my shed to a heated lounge.

This is the view towards Lake Ontario as we speak.. Not the best place to live, for a guy who hates cold/snow.. But man is it beautiful in the summer. I hadn't had a cigar since November, and couldn't take it any longer and made the 50 minute drive to to Buffalo to a bar that allows smoking. Had an amazing Rocky Patel Decade and a couple of brews. Look forward to going back ASAP.
(sorry about the picture size, if there is a way to make it smaller, I would love to learn, thanks)
