Was able to get out to a local cigar bar with a good friend and finally try the Tat Pudgy Jason paired with a local distillery's first batch of bourbon. It was my first ever Tat and while I liked it, I cannot say I was blown away. I got the pepper in the first third, which then died down a bit in the second, while the strength ramped up in the last. However, the more subtle notes of leather and chocolate didn't really seem to come through. I am looking forward to trying the rest in that sampler and hopefully once the weather gets better I'll be out smoking more to help work out my palate.
