Sorry to hear, man.
I am no insurance expert here, but this is clearly not your fault, so won't the deductible be waived?
Probably not. It happened so fast that I didn't get the other vehicle's info. So, to the insurance company it is a road hazard claim. So, it all goes on my insurance. If I could have gotten the other car's info I might have been able to file against their's. Then the deductible would be waved.

Well the smoke budget just went out the window. I was driving home with the wife and kid when something came off another vehicle going down the road. It went under our car and shattered the oil pan and busted the transmission. The tow guy said it was "all kinda of fucked up." It looks like we ran over a chain saw.

The transmission stopped working at 80mphin the third lane of a four lane interstate. Luckily everyone is safe. We'll just be out three hundred for the tow and five hundred for the deductible. Hopefully that is all it will cost us.

Whatever it was also took out the Mercedes SLK that was beside us. It was too dark to try finding what it was.
Glad everyone's ok man! I got rear ended last Thursday by an 07 3\4 ton Silverado at around 30mph. I was in the freightliner..... My rear step is bent a little. His truck, well, it didn't look so pretty

They build the front ends of new cars to fall apart in wrecks. My mother-in-law got grazed were the fender and bumper come together. The guy was doing 35. It yanked the front bumper, head lights, and grill off. It also folded up part of the hood.

Evey: Who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey: Oh, I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.

Classic line
