I've wanted one for a while, but that's my only comment. Ha. Wish I had first hand experience to relay, but they are pretty well regarded and aren't so much that you couldn't really use it as a tac watch.
Read patience is very important important due to the long wait for delivery (up to 2yrs according to some). But reviews all suggest the pieces are built solid. Maybe get lucky and find one in the secondary market.

Purchased tonight. If you Wikki "Rakita Watch Factory" you'll see quite a history there. They made watches for the armed forces. The faceplates are "found used" stock of 1960's presses of planes, submarines, and tanks " victory" watches commemorating the " event " of 1941. This is their own patented movement. It'll take a month to get here. I'll probably pin-dot the 12/3/6/9 indicators and swap out the hands. I can even re-case it right here.
Pardon the history lesson, but I spent about 3 hours checking the sellers' story out and it's the real deal so fuggit just paid.
It ain't rich, but rich enough in history.

History Raketa
PETRODVORTSOVY WATCH FACTORY (Peterhof, 60 Sankt-Peterburgsky Avenue), originated from a marble workshop opened in 1721 and reorganised into a lapidary factory in 1801 to make handcrafted articles of precious and semi-precious stones.
The factory performed orders for decorating the Winter Palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Church of Resurrection of Christ, and Peterhof's fountains. After the October of 1917, factory workers also took part in decorating Lenin's Mausoleum in Moscow, manufacturing ruby stars for the towers of the Moscow Kremlin and the Socialism Industry mosaic stone map for the World Fair in Paris in 1937, etc.
It was renamed into State Union Factory No. 1 of Fine Technical Stones, TTK-1 in short, in 1932. After the factory started making stones for the watch industry in 1935, it was no longer necessary to buy stones abroad by 1940.
After the beginning of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-45 the factory was evacuated to Uglich and Kusa, its restoration started in 1946.
In 1949 the factory completely destroyed in Great Patriotic War, has been restored and has begun assembly of our "Star" and "Victory".
Transformed into a watch factory in 1954, it started manufacturing Raketa men's watches in 1960 and become popular internationally. The first robot-operated watch assembly line in the country was put into operation in 1974. The factory produced up to 5 million watches per year in the 1970-80s, about 40% of its produce were exported to more than 30 countries. It became the parent enterprise of an association of companies under the same name in 1980 and an open joint-stock company in 1991.

I have one of these 'Bora Bora" watches. Although it says "Claybourne", it's all man. I have one of these and put on stainless steel band. The chronograph ring is functional and the lens is mineral not plastic. This is my gun range and shop watch. Never did figure out who the manufacture is but this guy on sleezebay has been trying to sell the one below for months. You could probably offer him $10.
I have it bookmarked as a spare. But 'll never need it. The one I own refuses to die.
