Yeah, mine says the same thing. Who they trying to kid, her kid sister comes out to visit and blows her cover all the time by announcing them. hahaHa! My wife is still trying to convince me that she doesn't do that and conveniently enough whenever I confront her about it it's the dogs. I'm feeling more confartable already! Biased? Nah... you are educated. Never let those flannel-wear-grundge-rocking-weirdos take that from you.I can't find passable carne asada in Seattle to save my life! @sean
Maybe I'm biased though..
Based on what I read here I am going to guess Modesto, Turlock or Waterford. Am I right?Longtime lurker finally membered up. Reside in the dead center, armpit of the Central Valley, California. (I assure you, there are some "normal" Californians left). 35 with two little ones and a wonderful wife. I enjoy camping, fishing, gardening, bbq ing, and creating memories anyway I can with family and friends. I'm a power lineman for a local utility by trade and an aspiring almond farmer, Lord willing. I've been enjoying cigars for the last five years. I've gone through the normal progression of loving mild-med sticks when I started out to my current palate of really loving med-full cigars now. Pepin,Tatuaje, and crowned heads are some of my current favorite makers while my current infatuation is trying to find more las calaveras and aquiring as many different tat reservas as I can financially justify. Trying to fight the cigar demons lies of telling me I don't have enough cigars yet when I have 2 coolidors packed and a third in the process. I learned that the slope is steep and slippery early on as many of you did as well I'm sure. I've learned much from you all already and am exited to be a part finally.
DING DING DING!! We have a winner! Lifetime resident of Turlock and work at MID in modesto. You around the area?Based on what I read here I am going to guess Modesto, Turlock or Waterford. Am I right?

I dont think many really decide out of the blue to do it. I was born with it in my blood I guess. Three generations of farmers before me and I am my fathers son. Sometimes I feel like this dirt runs in my veins. My family has been on this same property since 1908 and I hope my kids can grow old here as well.BTW.... how does one decide to become an almond farmer?
