For quite some time now I've looked forward to one of your peppery, perfectly constructed Nicaraguan cigars after a long hard day at the accounting factory.

Each night I'm torn between one of the PCR, Noella Reserva, or Cojonu I always keep stocked.

I smoke it down to the firey end, never hesitating to blister my fingertips worse each time so that the next evening's cigar can be smoked even further. Pain need not be the way of pleasure.

Yet, the glue on those narrow brown little bands always does. I pick and pull and spin and spat with those damn little bands. What have you got on there? I can't get the darn things off!!!

So sir, I ask you, ease up on the adhesive.

Warmest Regards,

Finster

Most stubborn bands can be dealt with if you spin the head in your mouth (no jabs here guys!) before lighting. Moisture often helps loosen the glue so's the band comes off easily once the stick is warmed by smoking. Most bands that is...

I dislike it when that happens as well. If you aren't already doing it, a tip for sticky labels issues is to wait till you have burned down near the label. The heat will lessen the grip and make it easier to take off.
Yep. I done figgured that out. Annoying nonetheless.

Every Tat I've smoked has had this issue.

I like to save my bands and glue them to my humidor. There's very few Tat bands on there because there's very few that come off intact.

I keep a suturing set on hand in the garage for band removal for times like these.

I know the Tat bands are narrower but on wider bands a quick blast of heat from the lighter help warm up the glue and most times they come out easily.

For the millionth time, all that needs to eb done is wait until the heat is near the bad. It loosens adhesive and you can take band off with no issue. I have never had a band rip a wrapper or tear wrong after figuring this out. I taught Mikey limited that he didnt have to smoke the Opus bands anymore just be patient lol. I have so many clean removed Opus bands its incredible.
